Hi!

My name is Jon Mills, I was born in Carlton-in-Lindrick, but I now live in Bath (traitor!). My parents, Michael and Janet, both live in Carlton, so I occasionally get back to visit.

I decided to put this page together when I started researching my family tree. I started to get census information together to help with that, and I realised that it would be useful to put some of it on the web for other people to see.

Its really interesting to see how many family names from these old censuses (censi?) are still in the village today.

All of the information on this site has been transcribed by me (apart from the info. transcribed by other helpful people), so its probably pretty inaccurate. Just drop me an email (at admin@carltoncensus.co.uk) if you'd like me to check the original.
